About

Lonely Hearts Club is a breakup support group.  After losing someone close, it’s important to have a support system that helps you heal. This group will give you a place to express your emotions and share your experiences with individuals who are navigating the same rocky waters of a breakup. Lonely Hearts Club cultivates a community where group members are eager to participate and learn from one another.

The group meets virtually once a week over an eight-week period. Each session is shaped by the group’s unique needs, focusing on various topics like the ones listed below. We’re not limited to these; every group naturally evolves and may explore other areas depending on where members need support.

  • Pedestal Mindset:
“Exploring why we idealize our exes and how it affects self-esteem, helping you shift to a more balanced perspective.”

  • Lingering Connections:
Exploring the lingering connections we maintain with our ex, from old messages to shared digital spaces, and how they affect healing.

  • Self-Esteem:
Shifting the focus from self-blame to self-compassion, rebuilding confidence after heartbreak.

  • Grief of the Future:
Acknowledging the grief around the future you imagined with your ex and learning to navigate the uncertainty of moving forward.
